As a Design Center Manager you will be working with and managing a group of highly skilled engineers of various technical disciplines including digital, analog and mixed signal/RF IC design, verification, synthesis and system integration for ASIC’s, FPGA’s, and SoC’s in the wireless, networking and digital media space.
You will plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of the engineering team; ensure compliance with Intrinsix policies, standards and procedures for the technical work performed in the design center; assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the project teams to ensure delivery of complete solutions on time and within budget; assist in recruiting and overseeing development and maintenance of staff competence in required areas; and, participate directly in technical projects. Position is located in Rochester, NY. Also looking for a Principal MS/RF Engineer you will provide project management as well as hands on technical contribution. You will drive development of architectures, detailed MS/RF design, system verification, assign resources and establish project milestones. This is a very senior position and requires a solid history of successful project leadership experience with a thorough understanding of the ASIC design cycle, i.e. hands on knowledge in all phases of the ASIC process (specification through GDSII hand-off), as well as experience in writing and presenting technical proposals and project status.
